Gauntlet: Slayer Edition

An upgraded version of Gauntlet, a title with arcade origins known from early stages of PC gaming. The remade version (released in 2014 on PC) was developed by Arrowhead Game Studios. Gauntlet: Slayer Edition is a new incarnation of a dungeon crawler released on arcade machines in 1985. The players enter a fantasy world, and their task is to explore grim dungeons inhabited by dangerous monsters (giant spiders, armed skeletons), or even ghosts.

A mobile endless runner game by the creators of Subway Surfers, set in a colorful fantasy world. In Blades of Brim you play as a warrior, whose task is to defend a kingdom from hordes of monsters. To do that you have to constantly run forwards, performing a variety of daredevil acrobatics, jumping between several parallel tracks and attacking monsters that appear in your way.

We are given a two-dimensional, side-scrolling action game, in which we go through stages and deal with incoming enemies until we reach a boss. Compared to its predecessor, Gal Gunvolt offers 4 more levels: Factory, Bio Lab, Highway and Gym, which in previous game were available in the form of paid add-ons. We can choose one of three different characters in form of Mighty Gunvolt, Ekoro with Gal Gun and Mighty No. 9.

We play as the titular executive of a mining corporation that was attacked by werewolves and other monsters. Our task is to stop the invasion on our company while also making sure that it will prosper.

The action of Red Game Without a Great Name takes place in a future in which outdated communication methods, such as traditional mail, are still in use. Considering the trouble ordinary messengers would have to go through to reach certain places, some parcels are delivered by dedicted mechanical birds.

Story-wise, the game is not connected to the comic or the 2015 movie, but it is similar to them in how it presents characters and environments. The Peanuts Movie: Snoopy's Grand Adventure lets you play as one of the key characters of the comic – Snoopy the dog. He is trying to find his master and friends, who are playing hide and seek.

Similarly to the previous installments of the series, the gameplay is focused around an uncomplicated premise – we have to beat out a rhythm on taiko drums, using a few buttons that correspond with the symbols appearing on the screen. The difficulty level, chosen before starting the game, determines the frequency of their appearance and the type of additional challenges.

However, this is hindered not only by various traps, but also animals and drivers that cross our way. Our actions are constantly rated with points, and the stars that we collect throughout the game can be used to unlock more than 60 additional characters.

One of the side installments of the popular series of action games in which the protagonist is the famous blue hedgehog named Sonic. Sonic Boom: Fire & Ice is a companion game for the Sonic Boom television series. The title was created by Sanzaru Games, the studio also responsible for the video game Sonic Boom: Shattered Crystal. Similarly as that game, Sonic Boom: Fire & Ice is a colorful, two-dimensional platform game divided into levels and filled with action sequences and puzzles.

The game boils down to jumping over obstacles as well as the chasm and neutralizing creatures circulating on the platforms. During the game we also collect coins and precious stones.

Those include titles like Sabre Wulf, Knight Lore, Killer Instinct Gold, Banjo-Kazooie, Perfect Dark, Kameo: Elements of Power or Viva Pinata. Sadly, some of their iconic productions, like Donkey Kong, are still owned by Nintendo, and thus they are not included in Rare Replay.
