Action games. Wide category of games that require reflex, accuracy and agility. It includes, among other things, shooters (e.g. Call of Duty and Battlefield series) and action-adventure games (Tomb Raider). First and third person perspective (FPP/TPP) is used. In most cases we are playing as a character who has to defeat some enemies and reach a specific point. We can use a wide range of weapons, including pistols, rocket launchers, swords, knives and like. Action-adventure is a particular category within action games genre. Such titles put less emphasis on action and combat, focusing more on story, exploration and puzzles.

Alien Shooter: Vengeance

The second part of a simple but addictive shooter, in which we fight against the hordes of title aliens. In subsequent missions, we even have to deal with hundreds of enemies at the same time. The creators prepared about 50 types of weapons and 20 special gadgets. Alien Shooter has also gained RPG elements, that is, first of all, character development. The production was divided into a campaign and an additional survival mode.

The authors focused on postapocalyptic atmosphere, and the player's task is to try to find the remains of the lost civilization.

The title debuted in 2006 on the PlayStation 2 console and, like Rockstar's previous productions, stirred up controversy with its unusual themes and the way it was presented. In the game, we move to the Bullworth Academy - a famous American school for boys, and our task is to build a high position in the student community.

Starbreeze studio, known from such games as The Darkness or The Chronicles of Riddick, is responsible for its creation. The action of the title takes us to the year 2069, where three megacorporations are constantly competing with each other.
Alan Wake's American Nightmare

A third person-perspective horror by Remedy Entertainment and continuation of the adventures of the likeable writer Alan Wake. The title features a shorter story set in an open world inspired by the films of Quentin Tarantino. The action takes place two years after the events of the original title, in a small town in Arizona. The protagonist finds out that he is inside the world of Night Springs, the TV series he once wrote scripts for.
