Riding the crest of a wave of popularity of 2010’s Alan Wake, along with its two extensions – The Writer and The Signal, the creators from Remedy Entertainment decided to prepare yet another story about the titular hero. While the original title drew inspiration from Stephen King’s books, this production for PC and X360 is more similar to films by Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez.

Plot

The action begins two years after the events from Alan Wake, in a small town in Arizona, near the famous Route 66. To his horror, he finds out that he is inside Night Springs – a TV series based on scripts he wrote as a young writer, where reality meets fiction. To make things worse, he has to face his dark alter ego – a serial killer named Mr. Scratch.
