Action games. Wide category of games that require reflex, accuracy and agility. It includes, among other things, shooters (e.g. Call of Duty and Battlefield series) and action-adventure games (Tomb Raider). First and third person perspective (FPP/TPP) is used. In most cases we are playing as a character who has to defeat some enemies and reach a specific point. We can use a wide range of weapons, including pistols, rocket launchers, swords, knives and like. Action-adventure is a particular category within action games genre. Such titles put less emphasis on action and combat, focusing more on story, exploration and puzzles.

The game is a tactical FPP shooter, in which two teams face each other, representing terrorists and specialized anti-terrorist units. Each team has at their disposal a dedicated arsenal of weapons, which were prepared on the basis of original equipment of special forces from different countries (like Navy Seals, GSG9, GIGN or SAS).

Shadow Warrior (1997)

It utilizes the same engine as its predecessor and features similar gameplay mechanics, but has a different atmosphere and setting. You play as a Japanese master assassin, a member of the Shadow Warriors clan. Betrayed by his employer, who's trying to conquer Japan, Lo Wang has to fight with the overwhelming forces of the enemy.
Delta Force 2

The authors prepared 40 new missions and significantly improved the graphic design. The game can be played solo or in multiplayer mode. The gameplay is additionally extended by an extensive level editor.

theHunter: Call of the Wild

While playing My Friend Pedro, we travel through industrial locations and kill enemies, making use of both firearms (with a pair of pistols at the forefront) and environmental elements.
Void Bastards

Void Bastards is a hybrid of FPS and strategy. We command a gang of prisoners who have to break through a nebula full of shipwrecks. The player makes decisions about subordinates, direction of travel and management of raw materials, and the exploration itself takes place in the style known from FPS.
Killzone HD

Depending on the mission conditions, the hero can be either forced to avoid a direct confrontation, or brutally eliminate all enemies.

We play as a soldier who, along with his company, has to take over an enemy base, and at the same time protect his own from being taken over. Maps on which the game takes place are around one square kilometer big. There are up to fourteen camps, divided between a couple of factions, on each of them.
