They allow the player e.g. to control civil (digger, crane, bus) or military vehicles (plane, tank, warship). The players assume the role of fighter pilots and can pilot hundreds of carefully recreated World War II aircrafts. The developers made sure that battlefield reality is faithfully reflected not only in the air, but also on the land (artillery, infantry) and at sea (navy).

The game allows the players to travel across more than 1400 kilometers of highways and around 300 kilometers of trunk roads. Players can also visit a dozen or so cities, like Berlin, Hamburg, Dortmund, or Munich. What is interesting, the terrain is based on satellite data. The day/night cycle and variable weather conditions make the game more diverse.

In most part, in-game world is generated procedurally, which results in a huge area to explore.
