Forge of Glory is a multiplayer-focused mobile action RPG developed by the Russian studio Kefir!. Story is not that important in Forge of Glory. The game takes us to a fantasy world where we can face either forces of evil or other players. We observe the action from an isometric point of view. During our adventures we explore more and more locations and fight with the encountered enemies, gradually leveling up our character. In time, we are joined by more powerful heroes and fantastic beasts. We can use their powers and abilities in combat. Combat system in Forge of Glory is based on the match-3 mechanics known from the many logical games. Battles take place on boards filled with crystals. We attack by making chains of at least three gems of the same color We can expand and improve our settlement between the battles and, in time, turn it into a real fortress.

NHL 18 is another installment in the sports game series developed by EA Sports – a division of Electronic Arts. The gameplay revolves around the same mechanics as the previous installments, trying to faithfully represent ice hockey games; however, the developers implemented some major changes. One of them is the Defensive Skill Stick system, ensuring better control over a player and the hockey stick during defensive maneuvers. Opponents have a wider range of available moves making the game smoother. Also, the AI poses a bigger challenge – from now on, our teammates are better at taking positions and defensive actions, while the AI players are more difficult to defeat. Moreover, NHL 18 introduces the 3 vs 3 mode with slightly different rules – with fewer players on the field, one has more space to execute maneuvers on the ice. The game also allows us to play more conventional modes, such as PvP and both local and online co-op.

A strategy game enriched with elements of life simulation and survival, created by T4 Interactive - a Brazilian developer. The player assumes control of a group of settlers called Lings - taking on the role of a manager of a newly created village, the player has to make sure it develops properly, and cater for their subordinates (providing them with housing, clothing, food and income sources). The action takes place on diverse maps and the core of the experience is constituted by gathering resources and constructing buildings - one should also remember, that it is important to create roads, as they make communication more effective, allow the inhabitants to move faster, as well as improve the entire production processes. However, an important part is also played here by the game's complex crafting system, as the player can create over 150 items. The player's subordinates have their own preferences and fall into different moods; arguments caused by poor mood often turn into larger rifts. Additional threats are posed by aggressive fantasy creatures and intense changing weather conditions. If the player fails at sustaining their village, they can sell it at any time and start over.

Set in the Forced universe, a simplified real-time strategy with card game elements. The title by Danish BetaDwarf Entertainment features quick multiplayer battles, in which you battle the enemy with loads of units and try to defeat their main character. By drawing cards from a customized deck, you place units – mobile ones, along with defensive and production structures - on a small battlefield and observe the outcome. In contrast to other real-time strategies, you do not give commands. Once deployed somewhere on the map, the units fight on their own. Your army, which is the deck of cards, can be customized between clashes. The choice concerning the Minion Master – the main hero whose death in combat means defeat – is up to the player. During combat, Minion Master stands on a pedestal at the edge of the map and shoots enemy units charging at them. With the progress, a Minion Master gathers experience points that can unlock their special traits and abilities. With no flashlights or torches of any kind, we can only navigate using laser-scanning system LIDAR, which displays our surroundings as three-dimensional shapes formed by sparkling points. We do this by pointing a handheld laser – when the rays reflect from an obstacles, the system analyzes them, calculates their position and draws a shape of our surroundings. This image is displayed in a helmet worn by the protagonist. The system designed by developers has many functions that help us orient ourselves during exploration of caves. Those include: addition of color gradient in space depending on how far the points are from the player, the ability to change width of the scanning beam and map mode that shows every scanned and drawn corridor. Co-developed by Jam City, together with David X. Cohen and Matt Groening – the authors of the original animation, an adaptation of the popular adult cartoon series called Futurama. The player takes the role of Philip J. Fry, a pizza delivery boy from New York, who accidentally gets frozen in a cryogenic chamber and wakes up a thousand years later. The backbone of Futurama: Worlds of Tomorrow is the development of futuristic New York, which involves gathering resources, erecting buildings, and managing finances. Exploring the galaxy and its planets on the deck of a spaceship plays also an important role. Both of these feature enemies – space battles look like classic shooters, while combat on the surface of a planet is turn-based. The title stars the characters from the cartoon – you collect them and upgrade by improving their statistics and unlocking new skills.

One of the many DLC packs for the fourth installment in the history-based strategy games series from Paradox Interactive, Europa Universalis. The expansion entitled Third Rome is the first of the so-called Immersion Packs, which focus on expanding specific options in individual regions of the world. In this case we are dealing with Russia, the eponymous Third Rome, a spiritual successor to Byzantine Empire. Along with the add-on, Russian rulers gain a whole range of new management options, including the annexation of entire states or turning highly developed provinces into metropolises. Europa Universalis IV: Third Rome also presents a struggle of the head of the nation with the Orthodox Church. Depending on which saint you chose to revere on icons, you get a specific bonus. Another area that received innovations is the military, featuring brand new, unique units, such as the Moscow Riflemen.
