A turn-based strategy game for mobile devices, based on the popular TV series by AMC Network. The Walking Dead: No Man's Land takes us to a post-apocalyptic world overrun by the living dead, while the production’s plot is strictly connected to the TV series. Gameplay-wise, it is a classic turn-based strategy game. While playing, we command a small group of humans who fight hordes of hungry zombies. Given that we are outnumbered, the key to success lies in crowd control and avoiding confrontation with overly numerous groups. Between missions, we develop and manage our base. It is necessary to construct buildings, gather resources, issue commands to other survivors, and manage what little resources we have. The Walking Dead: No Man's Land doesn’t go easy on the player — every death is permanent and human losses are inevitable. This fact often forces us to make hard moral choices about who lives and who dies.

A 2D arcade platformer game with hack’n’slash elements, developed by the indie studio Zoink Games, best known for its highly-absurd production Stick it to the Man!. The action of Zombie Vikings begins in the moment when the mischievous god Loki decides to steal the last, magical eye of Odin, who in turn resurrects four disgusting zombie-Vikings and tasks them with reclaiming the stolen item. In the game we can play the role of one of the four playable characters, each of which has different skills at their disposal; the skills can also be upgraded by means of special runes. The heroes can choose from a sizeable arsenal of around 40 weapon types, which are differentiated not only by their unique names but also their usage (e.g. the ability to use vomiting or chopped off heads of enemies). Zombie Vikings is filled with irrational, absurd comedy and is most enjoyable when played in local co-op mode, in which the players can combine their characters into one, giant zombie-Viking.

Strategy, Historical, Multiplayer, PBeM, Singleplayer, Turn-based.

A turn-based strategy developed by Byzantine Games and The Lordz Games Studio. The game takes the players to 16th and 17th century Europe, an age when melee weaponry began to be slowly replaced by firearms. We can take part in three conflicts: Italian Wars, Thirty Years’ War, or the English Civil War. In all, we are given 10 historical battles, in which we control forces the size of a battalion and larger. Each battlefield was recreated using historical sources, while the available units correspond to real banners from that era. The key to success is to employ adequate tactics for each encounter, while the decisions made by the players have an utmost influence over the whole continent. The game offers five difficulty levels and a PBEM multiplayer mode. The visual side was based on the authentic battle scenes from the era.

A re-imagining of a 2D platform puzzle game for Wii and NDS, which is a remake of a classic hit originally published in 1989 for Famicom (NES). The game tells the story of a boy and his bizarre, jelly-like fella called Blobert. He needs to find a way to save his planet Blobolonia from an evil emperor, who imposes an unusual diet on his people - composed entirely of sweets. The two heroes set out on a dangerous journey with the purpose of finding the objects necessary to defeat the emperor while his minions try to stop them. The key to success in this classic platformer is to use Blobert’s special abilities, which can be developed by feeding him with a variety of colorful jellybeans. Compared to the original version from 1989, the re-imagining features completely new visuals and slightly changed mechanics – the range of moves and abilities of the hero is much bigger.

A space strategy inspired by the TV Show Battlestar Galactica, The Lost Fleet series of novels by John Hemry, and the video game FTL: Faster Than Light. In a distant future, the player assumes the role of a captain of the last remaining ship from a destroyed armada and hunted by a mysterious enemy. XO is played in real time, but the game offers an option of active pause. In battles the ships' movements are limited to two dimensions, but their behavior is simulated by an advanced physics engine. Some of the player’s tasks are setting the next destination of the journey, and then, upon arriving to a new system, collecting as much resources and allies as possible. With each minute passing more enemies appear, ultimately forcing you to escape from the system. You get some rest during hyperspace travels, when you also make necessary repairs, upgrades and political decisions. The ultimate goal is to gather enough forces to launch a successful assault on the enemy mother-ship.

The game is set in a futuristic city, where gender and species differences became blurred, and a new hobby emerged: collecting people's memories. Fyn, a girl tired of her present life, decided to go through somebody else's memories to rediscover her own identity. The story in each episode may take a different turn, depending on your actions. The game's atmosphere is dark and surreal, inspired by road movies, the culture and music of the 1980s and the works of Philip K. Dick, William Gibson and David Cronenberg, and the visuals complement it. Especially noteworthy are the surreal sceneries full of blurred shapes and pastel colors, contrasting with the pixel-art character designs.

The second large expansion to Goat Simulator – the crazy action game with a goat protagonist which parodies the wave of various virtual simulators. This time the developers from Coffee Stain Studios decided to ridicule sandbox survival zombie apocalypse games. The title of the DLC references to MMO game DayZ which for a long time remained in Steam Early Access. Goat Simulator: GoatZ is a purchasable expansion which requires the core version of the game to work. The title offers a large open world filled with various attractions and easter eggs. The goat protagonist must face aggressive zombies in which various weapons created with a simple crafting system helps him. The player must take care of the needs of the character – especially hunger which must be appeased every five minutes in order to remain alive. Goat Simulator: GoatZ is filled with bugs left there on purpose in order to parody cases of Early Access games.

The campaign provides several cases to solve and we must cooperate with the characters known from the series, such as Debra, Batista and Masuka. When we find our target, we don’t inform the police, but eliminate a target by ourselves. Our actions are limited by The Code of Harry – a set of rules left by Dexter’s step-father, which says he cannot kill an innocent man. Gameplay focuses on talking with characters, solving puzzles and challenges in which we look for certain hidden objects. The game features also simple multiplayer features.

Another installment in the series of Japanese survival horror visual novels developed by 5pb. Corpse Party: Blood Drive takes place after the events shown in Book of Shadows and concentrates on one of its protagonists, Ayumi Shinozaki. The girl's new adventure starts when her aunt visits her. The artifact is said to be hidden in an old mansion of her relatives and Ayumi embarks on a journey to find it. The mechanics of the game combine solutions used in previous installments of the series. The action is shown from an isometric perspective and the gameplay focuses on exploration, riddle solving and making decisions that impact the plot. Since the game was released on new generation of Sony handheld consoles, it features much better graphics, retaining its manga style, however.

The second part of Supremacy comes in the form of four new multiplayer maps. They take us to various places: a military freighter docked at Thames (Parliament), area of presidential palace in Russia (Kremlin), a secret training camp of the Atlas corporation in Colorado (Compound) and finally a roof of a skyscraper belonging to the same organization (Skyrise). Interestingly, the latter is based on Modern Warfare 2’s location with similar name (Highrise).

This arcade, endless-runner game brings a continuation to the long-standing, iconic Pac-Man series. Pac-Man 256 is a free-to-play title with microtransactions. The game was created by Hipster Whale - an external developer standing behind production of the popular game Crossy Road, based on similar mechanics. In Pac-Man 256, the player takes control of the titular creature running from a deadly glitch, which appeared first in the original Pac-Man game that came out back in 1980 (in the original game, the glitch attacked Pac-Man once the player had reached level 256). When exploring the endless maze, the protagonist eats yellow dots, not only avoiding the glitch chasing him, but also running from colorful ghosts the fans of the franchise are definitely familiar with. The player's goal here is to score as many points as possible before dying. Similar to Hipster Whale's previous game, Pac-Man 256 features a massive number of bonuses to be unlocked. The game is played from isometric view, following the pattern of the original Pac-Man, which was released 35 years earlier.
