An improved edition of the 2010's GoldenEye 007 - the remake of the classic first-person shooter for Nintendo 64. The player assumes the role of James Bond, the legendary MI6 agent, who travels around the world in search of the eponymous Golden Eye, a mysterious Russian satellite weapon of immense firepower. Although the game is based on the 1995's film, the player will visit locations which were not present in the movie. In contrast to 2010's GoldenEye 007 for Wii, this new edition features improved HD visuals. In addition to the story campaign and multiplayer mode, GoldenEye 007: Reloaded includes an additional feature, called MI6 Mode, which was inspired by the Spec Ops mode present in the Call of Duty series. It is a set of separate missions divided into four types of challenges: Assault, Elimination, Stealth, and Defense.

The player will spend a lot of time driving Gabriel's carriage, exploring subsequent locations (including crypts and dungeons) and fighting gangs of Hobbes that roam the area. The game is controlled entirely with the player's movements and gestures, used to drive the carriage, during exploration, combat, and spellcasting.

The gameplay mechanics are a combination of a classic jRPG with economic strategy game elements. Most of the time is therefore spent on exploration, undertaking quests, developing characters, and fighting real-time battles against numerous enemies. At the same time, we also have to take proper care of our village by erecting new buildings and gathering resources crucial to its development.

What makes it more difficult is the fact that enemies hide themselves behind obstacles, which requires the player to make good use of the rebound effect and take advantage of environmental objects placed on the maps.

An unusual combination of fantasy adventure and stealth games, developed by Frozenbyte, the creators of such series as Trine and Shadowgrounds. In the title, we assume the role of a seasoned killer, Shadwen, who is given the task of murdering a king. However, during the mission, the protagonist encounters an orphan named Lily, which significantly influences the gameplay mechanics—we have to decide whether or not to expose the child to the sight of blood or use alternative ways of eliminating enemies. The killer we control possesses considerable skills in terms of acrobatics, remaining hidden, and surprise attacks, although a direct confrontation usually gets her killed. The characteristic feature of Shadwen is the fact that time flows only when the protagonist moves. It allows us to plan our next move calmly and precisely as well as to prepare intricate traps with the use of a number of interactive objects.

During the adventure, Lara will face enemies she has never seen before and explore a previously unavailable location that encompasses the above mentioned forest and a tomb located in its heart. The DLC also adds a new costume for Lara and gives the players access to a bow.

When it comes to mechanics, Rescue 2: Everyday Heroes is a strategy game that attempts to simulate typical assignments of firefighters. Our job is to coordinate the units, choose the equipment, employ new firefighters, or exchange vehicles between individual departments. In case of dealing with fire, we need to remember about choosing the right extinguishing agents, finding water sources, and aiming the water stream at the right locations. The game contains a story campaign, but we can also respond to daily assignments. Rescue 2: Everyday Heroes uses up-to-date three-dimensional graphics, but the quality is decent at best.

The ultimate goal of the protagonist is to find a way to escape the dangerous place. Thanks to the non-linear plot that offers moral choices, how the objective is achieved depends on the player to a large extent. The game combines elements of various genres, such as platformer exploration, point ‘n’ click-style puzzle solving, and turn-based combat similar to that of classical RPGs.

The general gameplay premises remain unchanged; Decisive Campaigns: Barbarossa remains a turn-based strategy game that realistically recreates many aspects of skirmishes as well as the strategic activities accompanying them. As far as novelties go, a dynamic, semi-automatic decision system is the most important one, allowing you to leave the minor decisions in the hands of AI, and a new army management system, which features some RPG inspired solutions.

An undeniable advantage of the game is the high quality of its visuals, offering realistically modeled water surface, year and day cycle, as well as dynamically changing weather.

In CodeRed: Agent Sarah’s Story a player assumes the role of an FBI special agent and runs an investigation aimed at arresting an incredibly dangerous villain, who is planning to detonate a bomb in New York City. Gameplay mechanics combine an interactive story with management elements, logical puzzles, and minigames such as locating hidden objects. The game also delivers some arcade elements like car chases and shootouts. Actions taken in the game have some predetermined consequences and eventually lead a player to one of the three available story endings.

A side-scrolling jRPG with strong elements of classic beat'em up. Fallen Legion was developed by an American studio YummyYummyTummy. The game came out for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita; the two versions differ mainly in terms of story. Fallen Legion is set in a fantasy world and the player is taken to the Kingdom of Fenumia, which falls from glory due to the king's premature death. His daughter (the protagonist in the PS4 version), tries to cope with the problem and goes on a long and dangerous journey in order to bring peace and safety to her subjects. This is obviously noticed by Legatus Laendur (the protagonist in the PSV version), who's lust for power makes him try to take control of Fenumia in her absence. The core of the experience is constituted by fighting enemies in a real-time combat system. The key to success is to make a good use of the individual abilities of the controlled characters, apart from being able to skillfully combine attacks of the entire team into complex combos; however, having quick reflexes is also needed. Furthermore, the player has to make more and less important decisions many times - those influence the course of the story and what the game world looks like. All of this is complemented by eye-pleasing, hand-painted 2D visuals.

An action adventure game designed for PlayStation VR. Golem is a project developed by Highwire Games, a studio founded by veterans from such teams as Bungie, 343 Industries, Sucker Punch, and Airtight. In the game you play as a boy who ends up bedridden in result of an accident. Wishing to leave his room, the boy discovers he has a power of creating and controlling stone golems. You observe the game’s world from the eyes of the protagonist, while wearing a virtual reality headset. In line with the game’s plot, all interactions with the environment must be done by the hands of the stone minions. Initially, you can only create small golems, which can barely move around the room. In time, however, your power grows and the creatures you bring to life get bigger and stronger. Eventually, you can go out of the room and explore the world outside, most of which are ruins of a great city. While controlling golems you roam about the world, gather useful items, solve puzzles and fight with enemies.

An unusual racing game with platform game elements, developed by independent Dutch studio DoubleDutch Games. SpeedRunners takes place in a fictional world filled with various superheroes. Since there are so many of them, there aren’t enough criminals for them to deal with. Because of that, the heroes are forced to compete with each other about who will reach the crime scene as first and be able to perform his duties. In the game the player assumes the role of one of more than fifty characters and participates in various races during which he tries to leave the rivals behind. The maps are filled with various obstacles which slow down the characters. In addition, during the race one can use various gadgets as well as surroundings to one’s advantage. The game is focused on online multiplayer for up to four players – both in local and Internet mode.
