The heroes have to find this rare item, which is no small task since it was apparently hidden in an Orlaisian baron’s estate. Mark of the Assassin allows the players to visit a new outside of Kirkwall, encounter new enemies, and make use of an expanded weapon arsenal, among other things. Gameplay-wise, Mark of the Assassin bases on the solutions of the vanilla Dragon Age II, so it is still a real-time party-based RPG with active pause.

A sequel to the dynamic action game with RPG features inspired by the Monster Hunter series and developed by Bandai Namco Entertainment. Like its predecessor, God Eater 2 was made for PlayStation handhelds. We play as a hero wielding a magical weapon, whose party must deal with more and more powerful monsters. The story starts three years after the events of the first game, in which the world witnessed the invasion of monstrous beats, halted only by the titular God Eaters. An arcade battle system is still based on player’s reflexes, and it is important to come out with proper tactic before the fight. Each adversary has its own strong and weak points, discovering which is the key to success. Hero’s weaponry has been expanded with two new weapons: Boost Hammer and Charge Spear. Aside from single player campaign, God Eater 2 offers improved multiplayer mode.

Its story is set in a fantasy world inhabited by many mythical creatures, with us taking the role of a young wizard, who, after the death of his mentor, decides to follow in his footsteps. The objective of the game is to gather enough magical energy to bring back peace to the lands ravaged by internal conflicts of mages. During each mission we are given our own castle and a unique means of transport in the form of a flying carpet. The gameplay takes place in fully three-dimensional environment and concentrates on fighting enemies by using 20 different offensive and defensive spells. There are also some supporting incantations, e.g. summoning an army of skeletons or teleporting back to our stronghold to regain energy.

The game features an open world; we choose the order in which we do the campaign missions, conduct reconnaissance, fight battles and rescue the colonists. The gameplay mechanics are unusual, since the way of commanding the fleet seems like something out of a logical game. You have many different ships at your disposition, and to succeed you have to arrange them into complex figures and patterns, which strengthen the attack and defense force of the whole fleet.

The player assumes the role of a Consul of one of said empires, and their goal is to rebuild the strength of their nation. Mechanics-wise, Novus Aeterno is based on the fundamentals of classic MMORTS games, though it does not divide the experience into sessions, instances, matches, or closed maps. Instead, everything happens in a constantly evolving universe, where the players have complete freedom of action and compete against one another only where and when they want to.
