A competitive free-to-play multiplayer game that combines the characteristics of a space simulation, action game, and strategy. It was created by Yager Development, a team known for the FPS Spec Ops: The Line. The game takes you into the future, putting you amid a heated rivalry between powerful factions that aim to colonize space. As a mercenary you pick up various jobs from whoever pays the most. Gameplay focuses on battles fought between the players both in space and in the atmosphere of nearby planets. One of the title’s characteristic features, is the fact that instead of a fast and agile fighter you command a massive space dreadnought and are given the control of every element of your vessel: starting from individual mechanical parts through weapons to her crew. You can also assembly squads of smaller ships and command them in battles. Dreadnought boasts excellent graphics that translate into great visual experience.

Without Memory is powered by Unreal Engine 4. The high-quality visuals were crafted with care - what stands out are the detailed facial expressions and diverse character animations.

Developed by the independent studio GRIN from Belgium, an adventure/platformer inspired by the fairy tale of the big bad wolf and Red Riding Hood. The plot of Woolfe: The Red Hood Diaries takes place in a fantastic, steampunk world on the brink of an industrial revolution. The heroine is a 14-year-old girl who, having experienced her father’s death, decides to take revenge on B.B. Woolfe – the CEO of the company responsible for her family’s misfortunes. Mechanically, the title is similar to the Trine franchise, in which platformer elements are mixed with combat, solving simple logic puzzles, and stealth sequences. Red Riding Hood’s main weapon is an axe with which she can execute special attacks and diverse combos. The title features detailed visuals, mixing cartoonish and realistic style.

We choose both environmental parts (pipes, brick etc.) and enemies. All of it is very simple and requires only the touchpad to operate. Our creations can be instantly tested, at any moment we can refine them and eventually share with players from the entire world, or try to complete levels prepared by others. Additionally, Super Mario Makers supports amiibo figures, which unlock new skins for our hero.

An unusual combination of a digital board game, a card game, and a turn-based strategy with RPG elements. Funded partially by a Kickstarter campaign, Armello is a game by independent Australian artists and developers from League of Geeks studio. Armello is set in a fairytale-like fantasy world populated by anthropomorphic animals. There are four clans striving to take away the power from the corrupted king. Gameplay centers on exploration, accomplishing missions, and combat. In turns, heroes move around a procedurally-generated hex board. Not only do you supply your characters with better and better equipment, but also assemble a deck of cards. They can give you different kinds of items and actions that can be taken during a combat. Armello allows you to play against AI or other players. Visuals combine 2D and 3D elements and the fairytale-like atmosphere resembles animations made by Disney. The soundtrack was composed by Michael Allen and Lisa Gerrard known from Dead Can Dance band.

The continuation of the console hit titled Afro Samurai, based on a manga written and illustrated by Takashi Okazaki. The indie studio Redacted, established by David Robinson, the co-creator of the original game, is responsible for the development of the production. The storyline involves a completely fresh story, focused on the character of Kuma. During the playthrough we have the opportunity to play the roles of several, diverse characters, including Afro, who was also featured in the previous installment of the production. When it comes to the mechanics the game, it is still a rather typical hack’n’slash, which revolves around brutal and spectacular duels, fought with deadly, samurai weapons. The continuation does not lack in the terms of standard elements of the series, including platformer elements and an advanced combat system, which allows the player to perform extremely impressive moves and precise sword strikes. The visuals have been kept in the same style as those of the predecessor, however, unlike in the original Afro Samurai, the sequel allows us to enjoy the game in co-op mode.

Side-scrolling platformer set in cyberpunk world of future ruled by powerful corporations, developed by Disparity Games. We play as a sixteen year old girl named Emma, who delivers pizza from her father’s restaurant. Following her family’s business, she must do her job and avoid cruel teenagers. Gameplay wise, Ninja Pizza Girl combines features of classic platform titles like Sonic with parkour elements known from some modern productions. As we traverse the levels, mainly slums and skyscraper roofs, Emma performs some truly outstanding stunts to avoid obstacles. However, her task is quite difficulty due to time limit and enemies that are as nimble as her. Interestingly, there is no classic stamina bar, it was replaced with a gauge that shows heroine’s self-esteem. As for the game’s visuals, it features a comic book-like style, dominated with neon, pink-purple colors.

A unique attempt to combine the mechanics of the popular MOBA genre, like Dota 2 and League of Legends, with the features of classic first-person shooters. The story takes us to a world where heroes from five different factions battle in 5-man teams for the last star in the universe. It is worth noting that the game provides a vast gallery of characters to choose from, among which we will find such as an elven archer, a Japanese samurai, or a heavily-armed space marine. As we progress through the game, our heroes will reach higher levels of experience, allowing them to increase their statistics and the effectiveness of their skills. The games can take the form of either classic MOBA team PvP fights or a dedicated co-op campaign for 5 players, for which an expansive storyline has been prepared.

The player will explore eight extensive levels set in different environments, such as ancient forests, mountain streams, or Roman defense walls. The protagonist moves to the right throughout the game, eliminating hordes of enemies using a sword and a shield, as well as his fists and head. The visuals are slightly caricatural and cartoonish; the visual style features exaggerated character models and a large portion of brutality.

A two-dimensional science-fiction platform game modeled after the genre classics. The game was developed by PlayWay studio, known mostly for many farming simulators. In the game the player assumes the role of a young scientist who cannot accept the death of his beloved. During one of his missions the protagonist finds ancient inscriptions from which he learns that there exists a way to obtain eternal life. Full of hope, he decides to go back to the hostile planet in order to examine the sources of the ancient knowledge. The gameplay mechanics are similar as in the cult classic, Flashback. While playing, the player will be exploring, solving riddles and conquering various obstacles. One will also fight hostile inhabitants of the planet. Main character’s special abilities, obtained thanks to the alien’s magic artifact, will help the player throughout the game. The Way is a tribute to classic platform games and it references to them in its graphics style as well.

An isometric science-fiction RPG developed jointly by Interceptor Entertainment (Rise of the Triad) and 3D Realms (the Duke Nukem series). In the game, we assume the role of a mercenary, Shelly “Bombshell” Harrison, whose task is to rescue the president of United States from alien abductors. In order to do so, the protagonist traverses four different worlds, brutally annihilating subsequent hordes of enemies with her biggest advantage: a customizable mechanical arm. A number of mountable weapons are at the player’s disposal, each of which can be further enhanced. Apart from that, Bombshell does not lack for the elements characteristic of the genre, such as gaining experience, skill development, as well as lots of side quests. The game is embellished with a unique sense of humor, typical of most games released by the creators of the Duke Nukem series.

After a period of relative peace, the human overlords begin to lose control over the beasts and are forced to defend themselves from the increasingly aggressive creatures. The game is focused around small teams from four up to five players that assume the roles of Beast Folk, exploring the island and taking over new territories according to the Moreau’s Law. During the game, players complete various quests, develop their characters, and modify their equipment, as well as engage in PvP combat or join forces to create guilds.

The clothes damage system is a characteristic trait of the game. As the characters receive damage, their clothes are destroyed and the girls naked bodies and underwear become visible. Additionally, the player can select the color of panties and bra of the girls and touch them by using the touch screen.

Prodigy was created by a studio founded by Jean Bey - a French gamemaker who specializes in traditional board games (for instance, he created Confrontation). In this fantasy world, two main factions represented by different characters are fighting each other. The player builds up their team through buying new character figurines. Characters are moved by moving the figurines, and the player takes various actions using a deck of special cards. Each character has their individual abilities - the player combines different cards together in order to activate them. Between the encounters, the player explores the world map, engages in complex conversations with NPCs, and takes quests from them. All the teams and characters have their own storylines and the players' decisions affect further developments in the story.

A free-to-play, multiplayer-oriented fighting game, developed by the in-house developer team of Namco Bandai, employing people responsible for the Tekken and SoulCalibur series. The players assume the roles of Incarnates – exiled characters that are able to control various mythical powers. While the governments try to use the Incarnates' powers to advance their own ends, the heroes place their lives on the line to fight for domination and ending the rule of “Sovereign" of the era. The fights play out in 2v2 model, on spacious arenas which represent ruined modern cities, such as London or New York. Each of the characters has their own set of abilities and a unique playstyle. The key to success is to study each character’s skill set, and look for the right opportunities to employ it.

The Hero Trap is an independent dungeon crawler game in the realities of fantasy. We go through deeper and deeper levels of the underground, fighting monsters and searching for treasures. Production is characterized by random generation of locations and the ability to instantly switch between different characters, equipped with different features and abilities.

A mix of several genres: survival sandbox, action RPG, and roguelike. Proven Lands was developed by a few independent developers known as thesetales. The player assumes control of a crew member whose spaceship had crashed on an uncharted planet. Separated from the rest of the crew, the hero has to survive on his own by gathering resources and supplies, hunting wild animals, crafting tools and building shelter. Interestingly enough, once we’ve managed to reach the necessary tech level, we can embark on a journey through the galaxy, encountering alien planets and races, as well as developing our character by choosing one of the available character classes. All of the game’s contents, including explored worlds, found items, encountered characters, or assigned quests are procedurally generated and directed by an AI game master. Aside from the sandbox mode, the authors prepared an extensive single-player campaign which develops the aforementioned story of the crashed spaceship and its stranded crew. The game is characteristic for its appealing visuals – the game is powered by Unity engine.

A legal adventure game inspired by the works of J.J. Grandville, a French caricaturist. It was developed by the independent studio Sketchy Logic Games. The action of Aviary Attorney is set in an alternative version of the 19th-century Paris inhabited by humanoid animals. It tells the story of two characters: a falcon lawyer named Jayjay Falcon and his assistant, a sparrow by the name of Sparrowson, who try to clear their clients of charges during subsequent trials. As far as gameplay mechanics are concerned, Aviary Attorney draws a lot of inspiration from the Ace Attorney series for Nintendo consoles. Each case is therefore divided into two parts: first, questioning witnesses and gathering evidence, and then using the acquired knowledge in the court. The game’s visuals are based on 19th-century illustrations and works of Grandville himself – they were scanned and supplemented with numerous animations.
