Developed by Wargaming, World of Warships Blitz is an action game allowing the player to participate in online naval battles fought by mighty warships, mainly from the period of World War II. The game is based on a free-to-play model with optional microtransactions. During the development process, the members of Wargaming wanted to create a simpler version of World of Warships (available on PC / Windows), which would be more suitable for the nature of mobile gaming. The gameplay is less complex, while the battles are much more dynamic - this combined with smaller maps and teams makes each battle last no longer than 10 minutes; nonetheless, the game has retained a degree of realism. The ships are heavy, slow, and not very maneuverable. All the units feature elaborate damage mechanics. Fighting long distance battles requires a lot of effort. All this makes for a tactical experience - instead of those with best reflexes, players who can plan several steps ahead are bound to succeed.

A twin-stick shooter, created by an indie studio called Fermenter Games, inspired by cartoons from 1990s. The story, with a touch of specific humor, plays in Neighborhorde a secondary role. During the game we play as anthropomorphic animals. Their mothers aren't happy with the fact that their children spend too much time on video games. After being forced to go outside, the children have to face robots, sorcerers, zombies and even dragons who got here by a recently opened portal. What is important is that the children have to defeat them before dusk, because when that happens, they will have to go back home for their bedtime story. The action is presented from a top-down perspective and the gameplay is focused on eliminating hordes of enemies by using more than 40 types of weapons and battle skills. Both our heroes and enemies become gradually stronger and the key to success is to cooperate with other team members.

The difficulty lies in the fact that when performing this dance, the player is vulnerable to an attack. PWND introduces several characters, each one featuring a unique arsenal of weapons and special attacks. For example, Hank "The Humiliator" Harris shoots volleys of bullets and can significantly increase his speed, while Rise "The Punisher" Ito uses automatic sentinel towers and bombs that can be attached to the objects in the environment. The primary item of one's equipment is the rocket launcher with different alternative fire modes for each character. Developed by the American Aloft Studio, Hazelnut Bastille is an attempt to recreate the best features of 2D games released in the 90s for SNES. The creators brought both an adequate visual style and a fitting soundtrack, but they also limited the aspect ratio to 4:3 for example. The story revolves around adventures of a young woman who searches for a treasure she lost, and tries to discover the secrets left by the mysterious Ancients in this foreign land at the world's end. The path of the protagonist leads through countless chambers of old dungeons and mazes where traps and puzzles are waiting for the player in large numbers - those were constructed by the Ancients themselves. The locations are also filled with unfriendly creatures, such as fire-breathing frogs, levitating jellyfish making use of electric power, or huge, armored worms. From time to time, the player encounters powerful bosses with special kinds of attacks and unique weak spots. In combat, the player uses mainly a dagger known as Dawnthorn, which can also revive beings. Apart from that, one will be using a crossbow that can launch multiple bolts simultaneously, as well as bombs with timers. Additionally, a special device allows the player to place energy barriers - those can prevent objects from moving, redirect light and conduct electricity. The barriers are useful both while solving puzzles and fighting, as they can serve the role of a temporary cover.

Once the team is assembled, the player must set tactics before matches, modify them during the skirmish, replace injured players etc. The skills of players are improved during trainings managed by a hired training team. One of the more interesting features is the possibility to start the season in 1917 and lead the stars from old times. Franchise Hockey Manager 4 was developed by a German studio Out of the Park Developments, the creators of other entries in the series and the Out of the Park Baseball series.

The game focuses on the agility of the player, making him escape traps and jump between platforms while fighting skeletons, demons and big bosses. At the beginning of the game Madelyn lacks any armor and powerful weapons, but she is accompanied by the ghost of a dead dog named Fritzy. After some time the pair gains new weapons and better powers that enable them to, among other things, shoot fire. The levels hide many secrets, including secret areas. The game also features two versions of soundtrack – one references 8-bit consoles and another is a modern version of it.

A unique action-adventure game developed by an independent Chinese studio Spotlightor Interactive. The player assumes the role of the titular candle that can burn for only ten seconds. This flame is the only weapon of the protagonist during the long and dangerous journey to find the far away light. The gameplay mechanics of Candleman are based on principles of three-dimensional platform games. The player is traveling through locations, jumping between platforms and avoiding traps and dangers – all while solving environmental riddles based on light and shadow mechanics. Due to the fact that during majority of the game the player moves in darkness, the key to success lies in good usage of protagonist’s ability to light up his imminent surroundings in order to find the exit. Other candles encountered during the journey can be helpful as well. The game features attractive, dark graphics that – together with atmospheric soundtrack – create an unusual mood.

Another entry in the popular series of platform games developed by, among other developers, the Japanese studio HAL Laboratory. The game was developed for Nintendo Switch and – similarly to previous entries in the series – it enables the player to assume the role of the titular character, who travels through vast and varied levels. During the game they must jump between platforms, avoid traps and dangers and fight encountered enemies, among which there are large, powerful bosses. The developers implemented a novelty to the series – the enemies can become allies if Kirby throws enough hearts at them. The allies can be controlled by artificial intelligence or by other players. This enables the protagonist to combine his abilities with the power of elements obtained from his companions.
