The main story campaign takes about 40 hours to complete. The Breath of Winter also introduces the Free Mode, in which you can complete single scenarios. It's worth noting that you can customize the gameplay settings. The mechanics remain mostly the same, so the game is still an RTS/RPG mix. Apart from developing your player character, you also have to manage your base and army, which consists of varies units. The game also features a multiplayer mode for up to 3 players.
