The main difference between The Arrival and the core game or other expansions (as well as a factor which makes this DLC more difficult) is the fact that this time you are working alone, without other members of your team. Therefore you need to avoid open battles and depend only on your own skills. However, The Arrival offers not only combat and sneaking but also a lot of dialogues and new information about the Mass Effect universe which prepare you for Mass Effect 3.
