The BIGS is an item released by 2K Sports, a company known for its many sports games. It was developed by the Blue Castle Games development studio, and the whole was supervised by Daniel Brady, the creator of the MVP Baseball series. The idea for The BIGS is simple: the creators had no intention of creating a boring simulator that required learning the complicated rules of baseball. Instead, they bet on dynamics and wanted the players to be able to feel the atmosphere during the match.

A relaxing arcade/logic game developed by an independent studio thatgamecompany. FlOw is somewhat similar in essence to the classic Snake game, popular on old mobile phones. The player’s task is to control a shapeshifting creature in such a way that it eats organisms smaller than itself, increasing its size in the process. The game doesn’t contain any plot, while the main incentive to continue playing is gradual access to new creatures with different abilities. Despite simple rules, the success in the game requires some thought. Some of the encountered enemies have weak points that can be accessed only using certain power-ups, such as temporary invincibility or speed boost. The game is complemented by relaxing music, as well as original visuals – individual organisms are similar to creatures only seen through a microscope.

A spectacular fighting game developed by Bandai, based on the license of the cult manga by Akira Toriyama. The players assume the role of characters known from the series — among the 23 available ones we can find Goku, Vegeta, Piccolo, and Trunks. Every one of them has a different set of attacks, special combat abilities and energy attacks, including the iconic Kamehameha. For the money we earn while playing, not only can we unlock additional fighters but also enhance their offensive capabilities with new, powerful elements. Story Mode remains at the core of the game. In it, we can take part in the most important duels from the animated TV series — starting from the fight against Freezer to the final battle against Cell. Fights take place in nine varied environments inspired by battlefields featured in the original, including the temple of Kami or the Chamber of Time. Dragon Ball Z: Budokai also offers a tournament mode, duel mode, and a special training mode that lets us hone our skills. The game features colorful three-dimensional graphics inspired by the works of the Japanese mangaka and high-quality dubbing — characters are voiced by the actors from the American version of the animated TV series.

Another novelties that affect characters’ combat potential are the new abilities, techniques, and class-related quests well complemented by the legendary item crafting and improvement system – it allows the players to create powerful artifacts that can be compared to The Sting or Glamdring.
