You play as the wax protagonist, whose task is to restore the flames in the whole realm. The gameplay utilizes usual mechanics and during the game you travel through a series of locations, jumping on platforms and avoiding dangers, such as rain clouds, lava craters or barrels with gunpowder. Candlelight also features a range of innovations, e.g. the ability to set fire to some objects, which unlocks certain passages. The visuals were clearly inspired by the famous Minecraft. The game features the cel-shading technology, which gives it a comic-book vibe.

The gameplay is built from three basic components – exploration of randomly generated locations in search of supplies, building a safe haven from the materials found through disassembly of scavenged objects, and combat with hordes of diversified zombies – the main aim of the developers was to create a cooperation mode for up to four players, but solo play is also possible.

A crafting MMORPG developed by the Polish developer Huckleberry Studio, the game is a survival simulator in a post-apocalyptic world. In Edengrad, the players engage in traversing the world and combat with mutated animals or other players, as well as completing various story missions, the course of which is predetermined, but the location of each objective is random. During the game we can find numerous items, from weapons, through outfits, and up to derelict wrecks that can be renovated and used as a means of transport. However, the game’s main highlight is an incredibly extensive crafting system, which allows us to build equipment, as well as many furniture and other elements, such as lamps, chairs, or even walls or fences. Created items are placed in the world, influencing the look of the area.

Heroes are also proficient at melee combat, which further increases their battle potential. Combined with specific design of maps – filled with covers and stashes, and shown from top down view – it gives the game a very tactical feeling, magnified by features like the need to lay suppressing fire. There are several game modes to choose from, including the classic deathmatch, its team variant and duels at noon. Winning allows the player to upgrade their characters’ skills and give them access to better equipment. As far as audiovisuals go, creators of Secret Ponchos aimed at slightly humorous style known from spaghetti western movies.

The game also features a hot-seat multiplayer mode. What’s important, Riot doesn’t make fun of its subject but tries to present its essence. To faithfully recreate the reasons and the course of various riots, the developers interviewed people that participated in them on both sides. Virtual protests are shown in attractive pixel-art graphics that brings the visuals of Superbrothers: Sword & Sworcery EP to mind.

Our protagonists are sent on a mission to retrieve an ancient artifact called Byblos from the hands of the organization's treacherous former leader. Gameplay follows a classic jRPG premise and comes down to exploration, dialogues, and fighting monsters. During gameplay you can switch between the two heroes and, if necessary, use their unique special abilities. Naturally, the game features a character development system and a possibility of acquiring new skills useful in battles.
