Another installment of the popular series of three-dimensional fighting games started in 2003 on GameCube. Naruto: Clash of Ninja Revolution was developed by Tomy and tells of new adventures of the eponymous adept of ninjutsu who traverses the virtual world and faces various opponents in spectacular one-on-one duels. There are fourteen characters at the player’s disposal, some of which (e.g. Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura) are known from the previous installments of the series, while other are entirely new, previously absent warriors. The game takes place in six varied levels, each having two battle arenas. Apart from a story mode, the title features a number of other gameplay variants such as time challenge, survival, a set of minigames, and an extensive multiplayer for up to four players.
