The first expansion to The Lord of The Rings Online: Shadows of Angmar developed by Turbine Entertainment. This add-on takes players to the titular Mines of Moria – the largest and most dangerous underground complex in all Middle-Earth. When traveling through the dark tunnels, the players have to face new kinds of adversaries (these include both Sauron’s minions and some thus far unknown creatures). The developers decided to raise the level cap up to 60, as well as give the players two new character classes – the Rune-Keeper and the Warden. Another novelties that affect characters’ combat potential are the new abilities, techniques, and class-related quests well complemented by the legendary item crafting and improvement system – it allows the players to create powerful artifacts that can be compared to The Sting or Glamdring. The Lord of the Rings Online: Mines of Moria also introduces new epic battles and team raids.

The player assumes control over the titular research probe that is tasked with exploring an uncharted, hostile planet in search of a powerful energy source that emanates from its core. forma.8 sees us traverse a hostile world in a manner similar to other metroidvania titles. The probe is self-propelled and subjected to the basic rules of dynamics – the player often has to resort to pressure-sensitive movements in order to get through the natural obstacles or varied enemies, including bosses. Interestingly enough, we encounter various power-ups along the way, which often allow us to gain a temporary advantage over our pursuers. The game is characteristic for its refined graphics based on three-dimensional elements with hand-drawn environment.

A sequel of the Polish fighting game developed by World Software in 1994. After more than two decades, the creators have decided to work on a continuation. You assume the role of Franko from the original title, who was washing dishes in Great Britain for years. Finally, he makes up his mind and goes back to his hometown in Poland. The hero’s turbulent past got him into new trouble, which assault him already on his way home. Having arrived, Franko has to face a new, dangerous enemy along with hordes of his thugs. Mechanically, gameplay is similar to beat’em up titles from arcade machines and comes down to going through locations and eliminating waves of enemies with bare fists and quite a wide arsenal of weapons which can be taken from the enemies. Stylistically, the sequel follows in the original’s footsteps. The title mocks Polish reality of life, current events, and famous people.

An independent adventure game focused on exploration and plot. The title, developed by American studio PostMod, takes the player to an abandoned city, where they are tasked with discovering the reasons why the place became desolated. During the journey the player is looking for answers to philosophical questions related to humans and the choices they make. The action is slow-paced and the gameplay focuses on traveling through half-open levels and interacting with items and witnessed events. The player can explore several paths that don’t intertwine with each other. Because of that, in order to discover all the mysteries of the city, the game must be completed more than once. Although the developers focused on delivering a message through their game, they also made sure the graphics of the experience they created are of decent quality. The game features nice three-dimensional visuals, crated thanks to the unusual style created by lights and shadows. The developers have also included an atmospheric soundtrack created by Simon Heath, a Swedish dark-ambient composer.

The game focuses on the rivalry between the two enemies whose bases are located on the opposite sides of the map. The players have to conquer the enemy's stronghold. To achieve that, they have to develop their bases, create more units, and gather the essential resources. Swords & Soldiers II offers single player and split-screen multiplayer modes. The package contains Titan Attacks! and Revenge of the Titans – two titles previously released on PC in 2011 and 2012 respectively. Revenge of the Titans is a classic tower defense title – the player builds various defensive structures which are to repel continuous waves of attacking enemies. Both games return with a reworked interface, and are now running in 60 frames per second. As could be expected, the controls have been remapped to fit a console gamepad (or PS Vita buttons).

The game employs cel-shading technology, which is an unusual visual style for the genre, giving the game a bit of a cartoonish feel. Vector Thrust is characterized by a wide range of customization, allowing the players to modify practically every aspect of the gameplay, while the open file structure makes the game very modder-friendly.

The debut title from Shark Punch, an independent studio previously known from creating games for Disney Interactive. The Masterplan spins a crazy conspiracy theory, in which the Nixon administration’s decision to change the fixed exchange rate currency into a free floating one had a more sinister tone. When it comes to mechanics, we are looking at a mix of action game and a real-time strategy. Our goal is to create a team, acquire the necessary equipment and proceed with the titular “master plan” that is connected to the controversial move by the American government. The action is seen from a top-down view, while our duties include combat, as well as solving riddles that employ logic and physics. Our job is made easier thanks to an active pause that we can use during any moment of the game. The two-dimensional graphics are hand-drawn, and heavily influenced by 1970s, similarly to the soundtrack that consists of music tracks from that period.

An original action RPG featuring a highlighted narrative and created by the independent developer Studio Fawn. The game is set in a fantasy world created by Dani Landers, who is a screenwriter and the creator of the game's visuals. In the universe dominated by mysterious, soulless mechanical abominations, the humans were quickly marginalized. The player assumes the role of a character who was born away from the world of machines and becomes humanity's last hope to defeat the oppressors. In terms of mechanics, Bloom: Memories offers many ways to achieve one's objective, breaking with the typical gameplay patterns of action RPGs that tend to focus on violent solutions to all conflicts. The entire game can be completed by using force as one's primary means, but also only by adapting an adequate strategy and focusing on persuasion. Depending on the chosen path, the game world reacts to the protagonist's actions in completely different ways.
