An original action game with survival elements developed by the rather little-known developer Whalebox. In Goliath, we assume the role of a boy who, as a result of an unfortunate accident, is taken to an unknown and dangerous world, and survival becomes his main goal. The randomly generated world is inhabited by smaller and bigger creatures divided into factions. Since it’s impossible to be on good terms with all of them, it is crucial to have a handmade robot that helps us face various dangers. To build a mech, we can use a number of different materials found in the course of the game, and depending on the used resources (wood, stone, metal, etc.), it will have completely different traits. The said production is meant to be played in three modes: traditional single player, cooperation, or competitive multiplayer.

Megamagic: Wizards of the Neon Age follows the story of two brothers and their companion - a creature named Fum. It turns out that Fum is the main component of a powerful spell desired greatly worldwide. Once the siblings decide to stand up for Fum, a series of amazing adventures begins. The player explores subsequent locations, talks to characters encountered, solves puzzles and fights a massive number of various enemies, with the combat employing classic RTS mechanics. Alongside progression, the player's characters gradually learn new, useful skills as well.

The new discipline quickly became a worldwide phenomenon transmitted by television and watched by millions of people all over the world. In the game the player assumes the role of one of the fearless drivers who participate in the races taking take place on special tracks in various parts of the world. The general gameplay principles of FAST Racing Neo are similar to the ones in its predecessor. The player controls on of several, subsequently unlocked, vehicles with various parameters, and the game is made more interesting thanks to power-ups that can provide advantage over the opponents. The graphics were improved, offering 720p resolution with 60 frames per second.

A video game adaptation of the wacky parody of the 80s action movies, funded on Kickstarter. Kung Fury: Street Rage is a beat 'em up game, based on the classic productions of the genre. It was developed by Swedish studio Hello There, creators of simple advert games. You play as a policeman wielding superhuman kung-fu powers, fighting the Nazi armies led by Kung Führer. The combat mechanics utilize the skillful use of two buttons: right attack and left attack. Every successful hit increases the score multiplier, while every missed hit decreases it. Although the gameplay is rather simple, it still required good reflexes and composure, since there are many foes to beat, and they come in various kinds, each of which can be defeated by using a different strategy. Kung Fury: Street Rage features oldschool 2D visuals, resembling those of 16-bit computer and arcade games.

Another annual edition of one of the most popular sports games devoted to basketball. After a several-year break, the franchise returned to the traditional annual release cycle in 2013. Compared to its two poorly-received predecessors, NBA Live 16 brings a considerable number of changes and novelties. Mechanics-wise, the most notable ones include the new LIVE Motion system, which is responsible for AI-controlled players behavior, and physics-based movement model. With the latter, the controls were thoroughly revamped, now giving more control over the basketballers’ actions. The wide range of game modes was enriched with two entirely new ones: LIVE Run — an outdoor online competition of two 5-people teams — and Summer Circuit, in which we travel throughout the USA with our team and play against local opponents. The title is also integrated with the constantly updated system of statistics and leaderboards maintained by Synergy Sports Technology.

Unlike other productions for VR hardware, Edge of Nowhere is a TPP game. You play as a rescue team member searching for a lost expedition in the Antarctic. Soon the journey turns out to be far more dangerous than expected, and the protagonist is being harasses by a mysterious evil. In the game, you explore vast mountainous landscapes as well as dark narrow caves. Edge of Nowhere also features many arcade sequences in which you need to jump over crevasses, crossing a collapsing bridge or use makeshift weapons to fight enemies. The game has a quite grim atmosphere, which is additionally underscored by an appropriate soundtrack.

However, when the scientists lose control of a deadly virus, the future of the Assembly becomes problematic. The player assumes the roles of two independent characters having their own rules and motivations. The choices those two make can influence their not only their own lives, but also the fate of the entire humanity. In terms of mechanics, the game is played from first-person view, which is typical for VR titles. For the most part, the player explores the virtual environment, solves puzzles, and makes moral choices shaping the further course of the story.

The economic model is quite developed – we are left with more than 24 types of resources, while the population is discerned by 15 professions. Additionally, the mayor has to make sure that the inhabitants are content, as well as maintain peaceful relations with other cities. Aside from an extensive single player campaign, Lethis: Path of Progress contains a more relaxed sandbox mode. The game uses eye-friendly, two-dimensional graphics with a slightly cartoonish design.

This title is characterized by its complex and interesting combat system that utilizes the best solutions from all previous entries in the series. In comparison to the original titles, the new games have higher quality graphics.

The first step is to recruit some old friends and new members that will follow the player’s orders. Each thug has his or her own statistics and skills, which can be developed to increase his or her effectiveness in combat. This is the main part of gameplay, along with the focus on using members’ skills correctly. This allows for conquering of new territories in the town, which we observe from isometric view, and the game ends when we have complete control.

An arcade dirt bike racing game which is an improved edition of the original, 2014 release. The game was created specifically for the eighth-gen consoles. The player takes on the role of a professional rider that participates in races taking place on special tracks filled with obstacles and jumps. 80 licensed motocross companies are featured in the game, as well as real-life contestants and authentic tracks. Several series of competitions are waiting for the player in the career mode and the so-called freeride. Both the Waypoint and Rhythm Racing modes are novelties here. In the former, the riders have to reach subsequent checkpoints in an open environment as fast as they can; in the latter, the contestants race on a straight track filled with obstacles. In terms of the multiplayer, up to 12 players can meet in an on-line session; on the other hand, the game also features a split-screen mode. MX vs. ATV Supercross Encore brings improved visuals, including both more detailed models and textures. Also, new sound effects were added.

First-person adventure game in the form of a psychological thriller and the debut of an independent Italian studio Lka.it. The game's plot is set in an mental institution located in the Italian town of Volterra. Creators of The Town of Light decided to depict in their game the history of an actually existing place, focusing on dramas of its residents, treated by facility staff like animals. In the game we play the part of a 16-year-old girl named Renee who comes to the asylum in hope of recovering her lost memories. Her task is complicated by the fact that she suffers from schizophrenia, and during exploration she is constantly accompanied by her various fears and other symptoms of her condition. During the game we explore subsequent, carefully reproduced rooms of the asylum, slowly discovering all of its dark secrets. Depending on our actions, story can develop in a nonlinear way.

An original arcade logic game with a bit of mathematics and dark humor, created by a duo of Russian developers. The player’s objective is to save herds of sheep from flooding caused by The Grim Reaper. We have to throw the sheep across a series of small islands so they can reach rescue dinghies. Each of the islands can only hold a certain amount of animals, so to use them efficiently, some basic mathematics will be needed. Our job is further hindered by the numerous dangers that await our mistakes, including deadly laser beams, ravenous wolves, or even the legendary Kraken. The campaign contains 120 varied levels with increasing difficulty level, taking place on four different worlds. Divide by Sheep is characterized by simple, colorful visuals. However, even if the game is humorous in nature, it is quite violent, as the sheep can die in horrific ways.

You can also try to complete additional challenges, which earn you extra points. The game features very colorful cartoonish visuals and utilizes a free-to-play model with microtransactions.

A unique online game developed by M28 studio. We start as a single cell and must devour other cells or granules lying on the map to grow bigger. However, with increased size comes decreased speed, and we lose mass when we are idle. This means we must remain mobile and look for food, but also avoid contact with viruses the can be bound on map. The game gets even more complicated with the option of splitting a cell into two (up to sixteen) to increase the speed. The problem is that our unified avatar has to be 10% bigger than its prey, and after splitting each part must have 30% mass more than the cells it wants to eat. All of this is presented with very simple, if not minimalistic, visuals

A first-person perspective action-adventure game stylized as a survival horror. Allison Road had a somewhat complicated development cycle, with previous developers (Lilith) abandoning the project. However, a new studio, Far From Home, decided to pick-up the project and lead it to a stable release. The player assumes the role of an unidentified hero, who wakes up one night in a suburban home without having any recollection of the events of the last few days. Our protagonist, attempting to return to his family and discover what has happened, learns that the mansion has a grim backstory, while its walls are inhabited by dangerous, supernatural beings, including a ghost named Lilly. Our task is to avoid the monsters and survive five full nights in the grim house to explore it thoroughly and reveal its secrets. As our hero doesn’t have any weapons on him, Allison Road forces the player to use the environment around him to hide and lay traps.

Considering the trouble ordinary messengers would have to go through to reach certain places, some parcels are delivered by dedicted mechanical birds. The players assume the role of one of them, and their task is to traverse various, rather hostile, locations with the goal of safely delivering parcels and collecting gears that are scattered around the levels. The bird we control is not entirely defenseless, though, and has the ability to teleport and to use various power-ups, allowing him to come out alive from dire situations and deal with encountered obstacles in numerous ways.

While playing, we assume the role of a private military corporation’s owner and our task is to face the dangers. Similar to the famous XCOM series, the gameplay is divided into two aspects. The first one is managing a base, which involves gathering resources, developing new technologies, and recruiting mercenaries. The other is going on turn-based missions that let our soldiers acquire experience and new skills.

Gunpowder is a puzzle game set in the Wild West where players have to carefully plan and create an explosion. The game's plot loosely refers to the legend of Robin Hood. A rich businessman called Grimshaw intends to build a railway all the way through a small town, not caring about the fate of its citizens. A lone vigilante Incendio, equipped only with a barrel of gunpowder and his cunning, stands up for them. The game offers 150 diversified levels, each of them being split into 5 chapters. On each of them we will have to arrange and carefully create an explosion that will destroy Grimshaw's wealth and estates. Speeding trains and their carriages, mining carts, cannons, even fireflies, can work as a catalyst for our explosion. It creates many opportunities for the more creative players. The more creative we are, the more points we get. Gunpowder has colorful, cartoonish visuals and is filled with humor.

A point-n-click adventure game from Red Dwarf Games. The plot revolves around two astronauts – Professor Gagayev and Perseus, a talking dog. Their objective is to neutralize Shuttle’s Bane, a mysterious magnetic anomaly that sucks in any spaceship that comes too close. During the game, you visit a big, open world composed of several planets and moons. Having landed on one of those, you can meet a number of characters of different races – some of them are friendly and helpful, while others are hostile. Accomplishing of missions involves collecting items and solving complicated puzzles which are very challenging. Also, you need to simultaneously plan your actions on a set of worlds, so to make things easier, the creators implemented a simple hint system. Tales of Cosmos features pleasant, cartoonish graphics. Importantly, the title includes modding tools, so the players can create their own worlds and stories.
