AI-LIMIT is an action RPG, which in terms of pace can evoke associations with Japanese hack'n'slash titles. The production was developed by the Chinese studio Sense Games, owned by Palm Pioneer (known for its Tales of the Neon Sea).

Plot

AI-LIMIT takes us on a journey to an SF universe, where we play the heroine Arrisa, whose task is not only to save the world, but also to get to know its secrets. To do this, the protagonist often has to join forces with the characters she meets along the way.

It is worth noting that the plot has a non-linear course, and it depends on our actions, which of its endings we will see.

Console Creatures: 6 / 10 by Bobby Pashalidis

AI Limit is a fine experience but is plagued by technical issues that actively work against you. The combat is solid, but some mechanics are so overpowered that they eclipse everything in your arsenal.

Checkpoint Gaming: 6 / 10 by Luke Mitchell

There are just too many amazing Soulslike efforts to justify spending a lot of time with AI Limit, but that doesn't make it a bad game. It has some unique ideas that switch up combat just enough to be interesting, and its anime art style initially impresses. But for seasoned veterans of the genre, it doesn't provide much of a challenge and mostly feels like a retread. I'm sure there are people out there who have been scarred by Dark Souls and are looking for an entry-level Soulslike to ease them back in, and that's the kind of individual I'd recommend AI Limit to. They'll have fun, but it's a stepping stone to something far more riveting elsewhere.

Dexerto: 3 / 5 by Sam Smith

While the adventure borrows heavily from Bloodborne, Dark Souls, and Stellar Blade, it never quite manages to match them. This is because it feels like more of a tribute act rather than a game that drives the genre forward. As fun as AI Limit is, we’ve seen it all before.
