Release Date: September 30, 2025
A special version of the 2024 first-person survival horror. Alien: Rogue Incursion Evolved Edition drops the VR requirement and allows to play the game on traditional platforms. The game takes us to a facility overrun by xenomorphs. We explore this place and try to survive, playing as a Colonial Marine.
Alien: Rogue Incursion Evolved Edition is a special version of the game Alien: Rogue Incursion, a survival horror originally released in December 2024. While the original game was created exclusively for virtual reality headsets, this new edition is intended for classic, non-VR platforms. The development and release of this game was handled by the creators of the original, namely Survios studio, which has in its portfolio games such as Creed: Rise to Glory and The Walking Dead Onslaught.
Alien: Rogue Incursion Evolved Edition was built on the same pillars as the original game.
We watch the events from the first person perspective (FPP). The action takes place in a research center located on the surface of the planet Purdan. Exploring this place and carrying out the missions entrusted to us, we must constantly remain vigilant, as xenomorphs - alien creatures that are born predators - are constantly hunting us.
The developers tried to make our opponents behave in an unpredictable, but at the same time natural way. A partial advantage over them is provided by a motion sensor (which allows us to detect approaching adversaries in advance), as well as firearms, such as a pulse rifle or shotgun. Given that resources like ammunition and first aid kits are scarce here, often a better approach than fighting is sneaking around and using the environment to our advantage.
Alien: Rogue Incursion Evolved Edition takes us to the popular science fiction universe, created for the film series Alien. The main character of the game is Zula Hendricks, a former Colonial Marine. The protagonist ends up on the planet Purdan to investigate the source of an SOS signal coming from a center located on its surface, as well as to discover and reveal the secrets of the Weyland-Yutani corporation. Hendricks is not doomed to a solitary journey, as she is accompanied by the android Davis 01, with whom she gradually forms a closer bond.
Similar to the original, Alien: Rogue Incursion Evolved Edition operates on the Unreal Engine 5.

Game Ratings for Alien: Rogue Incursion - Evolved Edition Video Game.
Saving Content: 4 / 5 by Scott Ellison II
I don’t know how or when “Part Two” will take shape, but I’m eager to see its conclusion as soon as it’s ready. Alien: Rogue Incursion Evolved Edition really nails the look and feel of the first two “Alien” movies, especially with the through-line mimicking them as well. I love the tension that comes and goes as you play through the game. Alien: Rogue Incursion Evolved Edition transforms the once VR-only experience to a very capable, thrilling, and stunning episode for flatscreens.
GamingBolt: 7 / 10 by Varun Karunakar
Alien: Rogue Incursion is a decent game, but it feels like one that should have launched alongside its sequel to deliver a more cohesive and fleshed-out experience. Survios' effort to adapt its VR title for consoles works well enough, yet the result is a fairly standard take on action-horror. It doesn't do much that hasn't been done before, and no matter how terrifying the Xenomorphs are, they can't disguise that fact.
GameSpew: 7 / 10 by Richard Seagrave
This flat-screen version of Alien: Rogue Incursion – Part One isn't as tense as its VR counterpart, and its gameplay isn't as exciting as a result, but it remains a solid experience for Alien fans. Just be prepared to backtrack a lot in the latter half and perhaps be disappointed by its unsatisfactory ending.
