Aliisha: The Oblivion of the Twin Goddesses is an adventure game in which we take control of two significantly different heroines. It was developed by South Korean studio Underscore and was published by PQube.

Plot

Aliisha: The Oblivion of the Twin Goddesses takes us to a fantastic world. The main characters of the game are Lisha and Aisha, twins with completely different characters and abilities. Lisha, who is only a few seconds older than her sister, is an almost emotionless realist with a flair for technology, while Aisha, who is insensitive to pain, loves dangerous adventures.

During one of these, Aisha discovers an abandoned temple. According to folklore, only twins served there and their souls could be united by the power of a mysterious device hidden there. Adventurous and eager to solve the mystery of the ruins, Aisha persuades her sister to plunder them. How their journey will end depends on our actions and the choices we make.

Game mechanics

Aliisha: The Oblivion of the Twin Goddesses allows us to play as both sisters. The game differs, depending on which of the heroines we control at the moment. In Aisha's skin we observe the action from the third person perspective (TPP). The protagonist travels through the ruins on foot, avoiding numerous traps on her way, interacting with the environment and solving environmental puzzles. This makes playing as this character requires dexterity, reflexes and perceptiveness. As Lisha, we rely primarily on the robot belonging to her - AMBU. Watching the locations through its camera (in FPP perspective), we scan the encountered objects and look for useful tips. In addition, the machine floats in the air, which allows it to get to places where the girls have no access.

Game modes

In Aliisha: The Oblivion of the Twin Goddesses you can play solo; then you regularly switch between the heroines during the game. Apart from that, however, the title offers a cooperative multiplayer mode that requires players to exchange acquired information and give each other tips.

Technical aspects

The colorful, cartoon-style graphics of Aliisha: The Oblivion of the Twin Goddesses present a fairly decent level. Two soundtracks were composed for the game, one for each of the heroines.
