game release date for PC:
A simulation game which combines elements of several genres, in which our goal is to create and develop our own cult. Amazing Cultivation Simulator is kept in a roguelike style similar to Dwarf Fortress or RimWorld. Originally, the game was only released in China (where it was a great success), but with time it also debuted in other countries. Three developers are responsible for its development, forming the GSQ Games team.
We start the game on a procedurally generated map, full of more or less habitable areas. This gives each play a unique character and makes the once developed tactics not necessarily work for a second approach to the game. We can choose the type of settlement according to our preferences - nothing stands in the way of its development in a cave, forest or on the shore of a lake. In the available area we choose a place and establish our cult. To develop it, we need to construct buildings for a variety of purposes - training grounds, canteens, bedrooms, places to pray etc. We create them using resources such as wood or stone, which are acquired by our workers sent on special expeditions.
The idea behind the game is to create an 'immortal cult' to which people will join even in many years from now. We decide how we will strengthen the faith of our followers: we have been given the opportunity to create our own martial arts, acquire lost artifacts, produce special potions and construct powerful magic objects. In order to achieve the goal, we can, at our discretion, introduce one of the 10 available laws to determine the behaviour of believers. There are different interactions between members of our cult, depending on the relationship they are in - family, friendship, romance, etc. Any of the relations may cause a problem that we will have to solve.
Although we are in an isolated location with our sect, we are not quite safe there. Our centre may be attacked by other groups from which we must defend ourselves. The combat takes place in real time and it is mainly about launching distance attacks, the more effective the better we train our people. The game does not avoid fantasy elements, so there will be a lot of conflicts with powerful creatures. We can also act in the form of fantastic animals, with special skills and being more effective in battle than ordinary people.
Amazing Cultivation Simulator has an attractive graphic design that uses a variety of colours and imitates pixel art in some elements. The colour palette changes smoothly during the game, depending on the current season.
The developers of the game provided it with extensive support. They allowed players to create their own mods, implemented new gameplay modes (e.g. Hardcore, adding permadeath to the gameplay) and have planned ACS crossovers with other popular games.
