Release Date: June 15, 1997
Lord Daeder's troops attacked the Battlespire Citadel, the home of imperial warrior magicians. With weapons and magical powers, you have to fight off an attack and destroy the power of the evil prince.
Battlespire is the first installment of the new series called Elder Scrolls Legend set in the very same universe. The game is powered by the same engine, although it is more linear than Arena or Daggerfall, resembling the Ultima Underworld series.
The Battlespire Citadel is a training field for mages that want to attain the title of imperial mage-warrior. The game begins when Battlespire is destroyed by the army of Prince Daeder. Our task is to save the place.
The game offers much less RPG elements. There are no shops or gold while all items are acquired by looting the corpses of dead enemies or simply finding them. There are only few NPCs that can be talked to.
