Aneurism IV is a sandbox game on the border of online RPGs and simulators. It is the work of the independent Vellocet studio and it transports us to a dystopian metropolis teetering on the brink of collapse.

Gameplay

In Aneurism IV we play as the Spirit. It is a spectral entity one step away from transforming into a human, who ends up in the titular metropolis. We watch the action from the first-person perspective (FPP). The game provides us with an open world and does not impose any goals on us. How our life in the city looks like is determined by our choices and actions.

The roles and importance of decisions

For example, we can become one of the hardworking proletarians or a banker wallowing in luxury, cooperate with Cortex ruling the metropolis, join the liquidators trying to stop the rot gradually devouring Aneurism IV and spreading scumbags, and also join the zealots wanting to take advantage of corruption for their own benefit.
