Plot

Arise: A Simple Story starts off unusually, because... during the main character's funeral. Some time later, the protagonist wakes up on the other side, where in the distance a mountain with a mysterious light on top is appearing. Our protégé decides to head towards it, observing the changing landscape along the way, which is a metaphor for his own past, full of both happy and sad moments.
