Expansion

February 19, 2013

Action

The first of three DLCs constituting the additional story campaign for Assassin’s Creed III. The expansion, called The Tyranny of King Washington - The Infamy, shows an alternative version of history. Consumed by the lust for power, George Washington proclaims himself as the king and becomes a brutal tyrant that intends to gain complete control over the country. Connor, the main protagonist, does not accept that; he decides to stop the madman from ruining the country. In addition to completely new story that consists of main plot and many side activities, the expansion also changes game mechanics. The protagonist can use completely new abilities against Washington’s followers. Among them there are bear, eagle, and wolf powers that increase strength, speed and camouflage. There are also warpaints that increase general statistics of the character. One can also summon a pack of wolves that help the player in battle.
