Game mechanics

Atelier Ryza 3: Alchemist of the End & the Secret Key expands on the ideas of the previous parts. So we get a jRPG in which we explore the world, complete quests, develop characters and fight using a turn-based skirmish system. Eleven characters can join the player's team - many of them are old friends of the heroine, but new faces also appear.

A special feature of the series is the heavy emphasis on crafting, having here the form of an alchemical system enriched with numerous mini-games. The game offers a rich set of ingredients and recipes, with the help of which we brew various potions and create magical items.

Atelier Ryza 3: Alchemist of the End & the Secret Key focuses more on exploration than previous installments of the series. The world is large and consists of a series of interconnected maps that we can freely explore.

A new feature are magical keys acquired during the adventure. Some of them we find during adventures, and others we create on our own. They have a variety of uses during exploration, combat and in the crafting system.

The game allows for solo play only.
