game release date for PS4:
After a pretty successful debut on PlayStation VR with a very short but intense game The London Heist, Sony Interactive Entertainment London created a similar, but slightly different atmosphere. Blood & Truth. This interesting mix of sneaking, spying and fully fledged FPS is on PS4 and requires goggles of virtual reality to work.
In Blood & Truth we find ourselves in London's criminal underworld. The main character is Ryan Marks, a versatile Special Forces soldier. After returning from a foreign mission, he decides to take revenge on the gangsters who harmed his family.
The protagonist uses a variety of different traps and gadgets, as well as more traditional weapons. An important part of the gameplay is the spectacular, dynamic shootings conducted using two PlayStation Move controllers. We can hide behind covers and use the environment - e.g. trigger extinguisher explosions to eliminate enemies.
However, it is also important to act quietly - Ryan is able to sneak silently, set traps on unconscious guards, squeeze through ventilation shafts, open the door with a blast, and in the worst case, he can always use a pistol with a silencer. Direct confrontations are not always necessary - we can also control the surroundings, e.g. by cameras placed on a map.
Graphic design of Blood & Truth is impressive, although naturally, due to the limitations of virtual reality technology, we cannot count on visuals equal to those we see in "traditional" titles. Particularly impressive is the lighting in various, very colourful locations. The whole thing refers to James Bond's films, both in terms of style and audio setting.
