The first of four large DLCs to the second installment of the post-apocalyptic series of first-person perspective shooters with RPG elements. Similarly as in the case of the basic version of Borderlands 2, the expansion was created by Gearbox Software. The action of Captain Scarlett and her Pirate’s Booty takes place in a previously unknown desert location, where, among the dunes, lies a small settlement called Oasis.

Borderlands 2: Captain Scarlett and her Pirate's Booty for PC, PS3 and X360 is the first of four large DLC packs for the second installment of the post-apocalyptic series of first-person perspective shooters. Similarly as in case of the basic version of the game, the expansion was developed by Gearbox Software.

Plot

The expansion takes place on a new desert area where among the dunes there is a small settlement called Oasis inhabited by bandits. Despite the fact that their headquarters is located in the middle of the desert, they act, look and speak like actual pirates. The group is led by Captain Scarlett. The story of these pirates and a legend about a hidden treasure are the main plots of the expansion.
