Casebook 1899 - The Leipzig Murders is a retro adventure game in the classic point & click style. We play as a German detective from the 19th century solving criminal mysteries. Gregor Muller, a researcher specializing in historical documentary films, is responsible for this indie release which was supported on Kickstarter.

Gameplay

The game transports us to 19th-century Leipzig, where as detective Joseph Kreiser, we solve four murder cases one after another. Each of them has many endings, but only one leads to the conviction of the criminal. This means that although arresting the right suspect depends on our deductive abilities, the adventure will not treat us with a "game over" sign.

Casebook 1899 - The Leipzig Murders is a classic representative of the genre: we examine the surroundings, solve environmental puzzles, and interrogate witnesses and suspects. Finally, we combine items in the inventory or use them on elements of the world. In the struggles, we are accompanied by prosecutor Gustav Mobius with his reliable eye for details.
