Chippy & Noppo

Mechanics

The gameplay of Chippy & Noppo is shown from the side, the camera being suspended above the protagonists. The player must build various toys according to their schematics. This requires traversing the large factories over and over again, looking for parts and adapting them to meet the requirements (changing their shapes or colors). The player must constantly make use of the protagonists's unique skills, as they need to co-operate to succeed; Chippy can go through small openings, while Noppo can jump higher. We should also remember the factory manager isn't too perceptive and often lets some differences between the schematics and the finished products slip. Nevertheless, we must faithfully reproduce the project to receive the maximum amount of stars.

There are many different factories to visit, from regular facilities filled with advanced machinery to sites located in the forest or by the sea.

Game modes

Chippy & Noppo can be played in singleplayer or in local co-op. In singleplayer we most control both characters; in co-op, each player controls one.

Technical aspects

The visuals of Chippy & Noppo are colorful and appealing, making use of a cartoonish, futuristic artstyle. The game's soundtrack is rather catchy as well.
