Crysis 2 for PC, PS3 and X360 is a first person shooter in which once again we don a nanosuit giving superhuman capabilities to stand against hordes of alien invaders. The future of our planet is at stake in this fight.

The game begins three years after the events we witnessed in the first part. The aliens turned a large part of our planet into a battlefield. The biggest cities of the world such as Rio de Janeiro, London, and Tokyo, have become deserted ruins where the streets are patrolled by alien drones, and the sky above by massive spaceships. The player is cast right into the center of ruined New York where he or she must face not only the monsters from another planet, but also the hostile C.E.L.L soldiers.

Similarly to the first part, Crysis 2 is distinguished from other FPS games by the freedom of action. Throughout the game, we traverse extensive locations that allow us to use a wide variety of tactics. This time, however, the creators decided to abandon huge and open levels in favor of more compact spots. The reason is the much greater emphasis put on the story. We participate in it not only thanks to cutscenes, but also through conversations between characters.
