A graphically refreshed single-player campaign from the original Crysis 3, a first-person shooter released in 2013 for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360. The game was developed by the creators of the series, Crytek Studio.

Plot

The story presented in Crysis 3 Remastered is identical to the original and tells of the final attempt to drive the Cepids from Earth. As in Crysis 2, the action is set in New York City, this time in the year 2047, 24 years after the previous instalment. The protagonist is the former Delta Force soldier Prophet, who appeared earlier as a supporting character and has vast knowledge of the invaders thanks to his contact with their leader, Cepid Alpha. In order to protect New York, the C.E.L.L. Corporation has built a huge dome over the city, increasing its temperature and turning the ruins into a jungle.
