Crysis Remastered Trilogy - Visual Comparison on PS3 and PS5

A video has hit the web, comparing the three games included in Crysis Remastered Trilogy on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 3.

Crytek released an interesting video comparing the visuals of Crysis Remastered Trilogy on the PlayStation 5 with the same trilogy released on the PlayStation 3 console.

The video features comparison scenes from the first installment of the series, but these are the least interesting, as the version included in the refreshed set is last year's Crysis Remastered, which we have already had time to look at.

For these reasons, the fragments focusing on Crysis 2 and Crysis 3 are of more interest to us. This is an opportunity to get a good look at what improvements the refreshed versions of these shooters will offer. Overall, they look as expected. The visuals are noticeably sharper, objects far from the player are not covered in thick fog, and lighting effects are nicer. Above all, both games run much smoother.

It's worth mentioning that last week Crytek released a similar video comparing the remastered versions of the games from the trilogy with the games released on Xbox 360.

Crysis Remastered Trilogy is coming to Windows PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch. The game is to be released this year, but for now the developers have not given an exact release date. It is possible that before revealing it, the team wants to make sure that the trilogy is properly polished. Last year's debut of Crysis Remastered was a bumpy ride, and Crytek spent nearly a year tweaking the project with subsequent updates.
