Game mechanics

In Cygnus Enterprises, we observe events from a top-down view. The player explores locations full of monsters and fights them with the help of an extensive arsenal. The battles are based on the solutions of the action RPG genre. The system of skirmishes is strongly arcade, but the outcome of battles is also strongly influenced by the level of development of our character made within the framework of six skill trees.

During such expeditions we collect resources, which we then use to overhaul the base and improve its buildings and construct new ones. All this allows us to gain access to increasingly better equipment and weaponry.

When the base reaches an appropriate level, new colonists will start arriving there. Management of the colony is realized in the style known from economic strategies. The player must take care of the needs of the inhabitants, encourage new ones to come to the planet and organize the economic life of the outpost.
