Arena survival type games force us to fight hordes of enemies. The independent German studio Pixelsplit has the Reveil project from 2024 in their portfolio. Their next game is Deadly Days: Roadtrip and we can take matters into our own hands and face the zombie apocalypse on our own.

Gameplay

In Deadly Days: Roadtrip we watch the action from a bird's eye view.

Fight for survival

We take on the role of a character who travels through a world overrun by zombies using a bus. Every stop to refuel our vehicle becomes a real struggle for survival. Battles are fought on a procedurally generated map with an open structure. We are being attacked by dozens or even hundreds of enemies at the same time. The culmination of our efforts is the battle with the final boss.

Combat system and taking care of equipment

We eliminate monsters using melee weapons and firearms, as well as other useful items. We find equipment in the game world and we upgrade and combine it, creating its more powerful versions.
