"Dino Crisis" is the second after "Resident Evil" series of survival-horrors performed by Japanese Capcomu. The main difference between the series is the fact that in this position, instead of zombies and other masks, the player has to deal with the title dinosaurs. The course of the game remained practically unchanged, so we are still dealing with a title that combines selected elements of adventures and action games. While in the case of "Resident Evil" the riddles were quite demanding and were one of the basic elements of the program, "Dino Crisis" puts a little more emphasis on spectacular shooting. It is also worth mentioning that PeCet "Dino Crisis" is a conversion from PlayStation.
The player takes on the role of Regina, who, together with the rest of the elite unit of commandos, was sent to a secret laboratory located on one of the desert islands. A dozen or so days earlier, an accident occurred there, as a result of which contact with the object was lost. After arriving at the place, it turns out that atypical tests took place here. The area was captured by predatory dinosaurs. The Commandos must inevitably separate - Regina is entrusted with the task of saving the surviving workers of the complex, as well as organizing an efficient evacuation. The plot of the game is definitely one of its strengths "Dino Crisis". The authors took care to keep her in tension until the last minute. The main attraction of the game are title dinosaurs, among which there are exceptionally agile Raptors. From time to time there is also a huge T-Rex, which should be avoided at all costs. This monster, as in the second part of "Dino Crisis", plays an important role and often influences the fate of the main characters.
Almost the whole game is spent on researching available locations, collecting necessary items and fighting the intrusive dinosaurs. As with Resident Evil, the heroine's main heroine keeps important items and various types of weapons in her inventory. During the game, he can use a pistol, machine gun or rocket launcher, as well as a handy map. For the player waiting for quite simple puzzles, as a reward for solving them he gets access to other rooms.
The visual setting of the game was quite poor, because it presents an almost identical level to the PSX version. The player moves through prerendered locations, the only 3D objects are the main characters and dinosaurs. However, it is worth mentioning the professional soundtrack, which significantly improves the gameplay climate.
