Duck Detective: The Ghost of Glamping is a sequel to the game Duck Detective: The Secret Salami, a humorous detective adventure game that debuted in 2024. The second part was developed by the creators of the original, namely the independent German studio Happy Broccoli Games from Berlin.

Story

In Duck Detective: The Ghost of Glamping we once again take on the role of Eugene McQuacklin, the titular duck detective. The protagonist must solve the mystery of the ghost, who allegedly haunts one of the camping fields. The presumed apparition is not the only concern of the protagonist, who has to deal with an annoying partner, cope with the aftermath of a recent divorce, and also face his addiction to bread.

Similar to the first part of the series, the story told here and the events we participate in are treated with a grain of salt.

If you enjoyed the first Duck Detective, you'll likely enjoy the sequel as well, and if you're new to the series, this is a fine place to begin. This short mystery adventure game might not be packed with thrills, but it's filled with charm and leaves one to wonder what stories might await in the duck detective's future.

Nintendo Life: 8 / 10 by Jim Norman

Happy Broccoli has once again pulled together a simple yet satisfying mystery that brings plenty of smiles and a handful of surprises. Now, if you'll excuse us, we've got to don our fedoras and go deliver a brooding speech in the rain.

GameGrin: 7.5 / 10 by Erin McAllister

The Ghost of Glamping serves up a hard-boiled ghost story and plenty of cases that are a joy to quack open. If you like mysteries, no de-duck-tions are needed: you should try it out.
