Empyrion: Galactic Survival - Dark Faction presents an alternative story that can be fully explored only after starting a new game. If we decide to continue playing the base version of the game, we can check out the new content without the new storyline.

In addition to the story of the Dark Faction, the DLC brings additional planets with previously unseen, deadly conditions and other threats. New objects can be found in the crafting system. The add-on allows creating devices not present in the original, such as a translocator, phase shield, and warped shield. The list of new features is complemented by a melee combat system and previously unavailable weapons.

Technical aspects

Dark Faction is not a standalone add-on, so it requires the base version of the Empyrion: Galactic Survival game to run.
