Frostpunk: On the Edge
Frostpunk: On the Edge is an expansion to the Frostpunk strategy game, introducing another map and a new role-playing campaign that follows the events from the main game. Polish 11 bit studios is responsible for the game.
This is Frostpunk expansion pack.
Frostpunk: On the Edge is another add-on to the Frostpunk strategy game. The players receive, first of all, a new map and a feature campaign, the action of which takes place after the events from the main game. The game was developed by the authors of the original game, the Polish company 11 bit studios (also known for its successful This War of Mine).
Plot
The heroes of On The Edge are the people of New London, who soon after the end of the Great Blizzard are sent on a special mission. The action of the add-on takes place after the events presented in the main game.
Mechanics
The basic rules of Frostpunk: On the Edge are the same as in the original game - we manage a community that is trying to survive in extremely unfavorable conditions, reminiscent of the Ice Age. Players receive a new map, as well as another mechanics, which we use on the Frostland map.
Game modes
Frostpunk: On the Edge does not offer new gameplay modes. However, we get another feature story scenario.
Technical aspects
Frostpunk: On the Edge does not make any changes to the basic design of Frostpunk.
Other information
Frostpunk: On the Edge is not a standalone add-on - it requires the basic version of Frostpunk to work.
