A survival-oriented sandbox created by an in-house studio of Bohemia Interactive. Ylands allows the player to create their own interactive world. Building your own worlds is one of the mainstays of the game. They can be placed in a number of settings and conventions: from Wild West, through forests and farms, and up to medieval castles and arenas inspired by Feudal Japan. The player can modify the topography, as well as build objects and items. The game incorporates survival elements – survival in an yland requires food, shelter from the predators, and equipment. The fauna consists of the aforementioned predators, as well as domesticable animals, but the player can also choose to be accompanied by robots. We can explore the area on foot, or use various vehicles. Ylands can be played solo, or along with three friends. The game is characteristic for its colorful, angular graphics, while almost all the elements of the environment are destructible.

Microsoft's original sandbox project, which is the Redmond giant's answer to the popularity of the competitive Little Big Planet series. The developers give players a huge workshop, allowing you to create your own world from scratch, limited only by the creativity of the author: from designing the terrain and coloring it with mountains, forests, water, buildings and a variety of flora and fauna, and ending with the creation of the character, which in addition to the external appearance we give the character traits.
