Going Under is a humorous game belonging to dungeon crawler genre. Aggro Crab is responsible for the production, while Team17 has undertaken the release.
In the world presented in Going Under, bankrupt Internet companies sink to the ground and their employees are doomed to eternal damnation. The player takes on the role of an intern who, on behalf of his boss, goes to the ruins of companies to take valuable resources from them.
Going Under does not differ significantly from other dungeon crawlers. The player goes to an underground complex, where he fights against encountered enemies and looks for valuable items. In the case of this game, the enemies are the condemned employees of the companies (the role of bosses is played by their chiefs). The role of armament is played by the equipment that can be found during the exploration.
In between tasks, the player can visit the headquarters of his home company. Here he can talk to his colleagues and unlock further missions to complete. A character development system has also been implemented in the game. During the exploration, the player can unlock new abilities that can be learned and then used for further gameplay.
The game allows you to play in single player mode only.
Going Under was made in a very colorful and cartoon-like graphic design. The game was presented in an isometric view.
