Humankind: Together We Rule PC

Humankind: Together We Rule is the first large expansion for the 4X strategy game Humankind. The add-on was developed by the creators of the basic version of the game from the Amplitude Studios team, who published the game with the help of SEGA.

Game mechanics

Humankind: Together We Rule is mainly an expansion of mechanics related to diplomacy. Six new cultures have been added to the game, which can be selected when advancing to the next era. These are: Bulgarians, Sumerians, Swiss, Chinese Han, Scots and Singaporeans.

Players have also been given access to agents - a new type of special units. They can act as diplomats and MPs, but also act as spies in enemy cities, for example, sabotaging their activities. They can also be used to collect Influence. This new currency is spent on diplomatic actions, allowing you to force your rival to take the actions you want.

The expansion also expands treaties, both with other empires and independent peoples. In the case of the former, both sides can strengthen cooperation, allowing, among other things, to provide allies with access to units unique to a particular culture. However, this requires the erection of an embassy, which is a new type of building.

Humankind: Together We Rule also introduces six wonders, fifteen narrative events and seven independent peoples absent from the basic version of the game.
