Flatline Studios is an independent development team founded by two Argentinians, Bruno and Mauro Annetta, with its headquarters located in Barcelona. In 2021, the team began working on the cyberpunk game 2112 Narrative Universe, in which they set their debut project, a hybrid of a roguelite RPG and a card game titled Into the Grid.

Gameplay

Into the Grid allows us to follow action from an isometric perspective during location exploration, and from a first-person perspective (FPP) when it comes to combat. We take on the roles of diverse hackers. Each of the characters has an individual personality and backstory, as well as a unique set of traits and skills.

Journey through The Grid

The adventure leads us through the dystopian The Grid, an "endless" digital landscape. It is up to us which path we take as we traverse it. While exploring futuristic locations, we often encounter hostile machines. Battles with opponents are conducted in a turn-based mode, during which we play program cards associated with specific attacks or abilities.
