Freaky Awesome takes the players to an alternative version of our world, where all sorts of monsters live next to humans. As you play, you observe the events from an isometric perspective, while exploring procedurally generated locations set in places like factories, underground tunnels and sewers. An essential element of gameplay is combat with various opponents, including powerful bosses.

The story focuses on a illegal refugee camp inhabited by those who managed to flee from under Kyros’ ruthless rule and now are forced to live in hiding. Bastard’s Wound also expands the story lines of Barik, Lantry, and Verse known from the base game and gives us the possibility of learning more about the Beasts of Terratus.

Super Bomberman R is another game in the popular Bomberman series and a launch title for the Nintendo Switch, developed by Konami. The game has 3D visuals, but we observe the action from the classic top-down perspective. We play as the titular Bomberman, and our job is to eliminate enemies we encounter on various maps with the bombs at our disposal. Even though the gameplay mechanics are not that complex, a more tactical approach is needed when entering new levels.
