An unusual RPG, in which we set off on a cross-country journey in an old car, hoping to reach a music festival. Keep Driving shows the action from the side. We encounter hitchhikers and various events, solving problems using a turn-based system. We can also customize our car.

Plot

In Keep Driving we go back to the beginning of the 21st century. It's summer, and the character controlled by us bought their first car. He decides to set off on a journey to the other end of the country to get to a music festival. The route leads us through highways, quiet country roads, and smaller towns.

Along the way we meet hitchhikers with their unique stories that enrich our journey and create its atmosphere.

Try Hard Guides: 10 / 10 by Erik Hodges

Keep Driving is an incredible road trip adventure game, truly living up to the vibe of an early 2000s drive across the country. Every aspect of the game wowed me, and I was left with no desire other than to get even more from the experience. Here’s hoping the developers launch some future DLC for the game.

Keep Driving shows that sometimes all it takes is a good core concept and you can run with it. Driving in your car with a shifting destination in mind, picking up hitchhikers and making sure you’re keeping up with the needs of food, sleep, gas and money gives a lot of really enjoyable experiences, and it’s solidified with a fantastic vibe and soundtrack. The journey is more important than the destination, especially when the journey is this good.

Digital Spy: 4 / 5 by Jess Lee

Keep Driving brings together all of its systems to create narratives that unfold organically and that are easy to get lost in. You may encounter the same hitchhikers or the same quests across two different runs, but the stories won't be the same. It's about the journey, not the destination.
