A 2D action adventure game with RPG and metroidvania elements, inspired by the earliest installments of The Legend of Zelda series. In Kingsgrave we play as a resurrected king. Our task is to deal with the plague infecting the lands and eventually to rebuild the kingdom.

Kingsgrave is an action adventure game enriched with RPG elements and mechanics taken from the metroidvania genre. The game, which was inspired by the first installments of The Legend of Zelda series, was developed by the independent studio Egg or Chicken Games, and its release was handled by the Alawar company.

Plot

Kingsgrave takes us to a fantasy land whose glory days are already behind it. After a terrible disease decimated its population, the few inhabitants who managed to survive left these lands, and their place was taken by horrific creatures devouring everything that stands in their way. However, not everything is lost, because a long-dead king is brought back to life and his task is to cleanse the kingdom of the plague.
