In October 2024, Piranha Games released a mech simulator titled MechWarrior 5: Clans. Just over half a year later, the first major expansion for this production debuted, called Ghost Bear: Flash Storm. Over time, a second expansion followed in its footsteps in the form of Wolves of Tukayyid DLC described here.

New features in the expansion

Similar to the previous DLC, the biggest new feature introduced in MechWarrior 5: Clans - Wolves of Tukayyid is the story campaign, which consists of 20 missions. It is set after the Battle of Luthien, and it tells the story of the 13th Wolf Guards of Natasha Kerensky, known as the Wolf Spiders. They become involved in a plot that could determine the fate of the ComStar organization and the planet Terra.
