A standalone expansion for Men of War, a real-time strategy game by Best Way, a studio also known for Faces of War and Soldiers: Heroes of World War II. Similarly to the vanilla game, Men of War: Red Tide is set during World War II. This time around, we assume the role of a commander of a special unit of Soviet naval forces. The main feature of the add-on is an extensive story campaign inspired by the works of Alexander Zorich.

Men of War: Red Tide is a standalone expansion for Men of War for PC, a 2007’s real-time strategy game. The production was developed by Best Way which is also known for other similar titles like Faces of War and Soldiers: Heroes of World War II.

Plot

In the game, we assume the role of a military commander during World War II again. This time, the players can lead Soviet marines, also known as Black Coats. It is an elite battle unit that specializes in combat near coastlines. The campaign, which consists of 23 missions, was created on the basis of the works by Alexander Zorich. It is complemented by several scenarios presenting historical battles from years 1941-1945.
