The main hero of Monster Hunter Stories for AND, 3DS and iOS is a young boy, who sets on for adventure in company of faithful Felyne – a friendly cat-like warrior, who is the mascot of the series. The two-man team travels a vast, open world, fulfill quests and – obviously – battle with local monsters. As we progress with the plot, we will meet bigger beasts, defeating which will require using special tactics and good equipment.

Game Ratings for Monster Hunter Stories (2017) Video Game.
TheSixthAxis: 7 / 10 by Jim Hargreaves
While it's certainly more approachable than your typical Monster Hunter game, Stories fails to capture what has made the series such a hit over the years.
Wccftech: 6 / 10 by Dave Aubrey
Amazing art style, tedious battle system and a difficulty that's aimed at young children - not one for Monster Hunter fans, but maybe their kids. If they like Rock, Paper, Scissors, that is.
We Got This Covered: 4 / 5 by Jon Hueber
Monster Hunter Stories may look and sound like a traditional Monster Hunter title, but underneath that veneer is a deep monster collecting game that surprises in its breadth, with cartoonish graphics and a kid-friendly story to boot.
