Open Roads is an adventure game inspired by the road movies. The game was developed by The Fullbright Company, known for Tacoma and Gone Home.

Plot

The game tells the story of a 16-year-old girl named Tess Devine who goes on a car trip to discover the secrets of her grandmother's life. In the journey she is accompanied by her mother, Opal.

While tidying up her dead grandmother's things, Tess found her diary. According to it, the woman had many secrets and her life was very different from what her granddaughter imagined. The notes mention a series of thefts and treasure hidden somewhere near the Canadian border. So the girl and her mother go on an expedition to discover the truth.
