In most cases we are playing as a character who has to defeat some enemies and reach a specific point. We can use a wide range of weapons, including pistols, rocket launchers, swords, knives and like. Action-adventure is a particular category within action games genre. A tactical shooter created by the indie developer Downpour Interactive. The game was developed for VR multiplayer matches, where the players use VR goggles and dedicated motion controllers. In Onward, players fight on modern battlefields in different environments, under changing weather conditions, and with the addition of a day-night cycle.

Rising World takes us to a randomly generated world which can be explored and shaped according to our preferences and without limitations. As the game progresses, we start gathering various resources, cut trees, and hunt wild animals.

A sandbox survival simulator with adventure and horror features from Thai studio Phoenix. It is an extended version of a 2013 amateur project built on CryEngine. We play as an anonymous character, who wakes up on endless desert. Naturally, his only goal is to survive and escape from the hellish place, which requires solving many puzzles, exploring the game’s world and developing our character, who learns new, useful skills.

The game places particular emphasis on the planning and preparation aspect, which is as important here as the implementation of the mission itself.
