The action of EVE Online takes place in a universe called New Eden, which consists of over 5,000 star systems. On the beginning of the adventure you create your own hero by choosing his/her e.g. face, past, and origin. At first you get just a small spaceship and some credits. Your mission is to explore remote places of the universe in order to complete various story missions given by NPCs.

MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries is a mech simulator set in the Battletech universe and available exclusively on PC Windows. The game features only a single player mode, in which one assumes the role of a mercenary, who chooses missions to complete. Apart from victories, the player needs to make profits from the assignments.

Similarly to its predecessors, X4: Foundations focuses mostly on giving the players a freedom in how they want to play. At the beginning the player takes control of a cheap space ship with weak specifications. He is being thrown into the middle of an open galaxy.

The player takes on the role of commander of the Star Wolves ship formation, wandering through a dangerous galaxy. A simulator set in a science fiction world. The game tries to transfer the world of a popular TV series called Babylon 5 into a game called Freespace 2. Initially, the game functioned as a modification for that game, however, over time it became a full – although free – game. Similarly to the original, The Babylon Project is an arcade space simulator. However, the difference here is that names of all ships, proper names and plots of all scenarios refer to the aforementioned TV series.

Ostranauts is a space simulator from Blue Bottle Games studio. In this production the player has a lot to do with the captain of the spacecraft, whose task is to manage it and satisfy the needs of the crew subordinate to it.
